Animal Kingdom

On Friday the Johnson and Vondenstein Family took a trip to Animal Kingdom. We had a very good time at this Disney Park. We went on an Animal Safari Ride, walked around and visited all the different animals, watched the parade, ate lunch at the Rain forest Cafe, and last but not least....took pictures with all the Disney Characters. This had to be the BEST experience during our trip :o)

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a very easy and laid back day. We woke up, watched the Macy Day Parade, ate some YUMMY breakfast (made by the BEST cook....my bro in law) and then prepared for more family to come over. My father, mother, grandmother, little bro, and little sis all came over to spend Thanksgiving with us. We all sat around visiting with one another, eating some GREAT food, and of course watching some FOOTBALL. It was a very nice Thanksgiving.

Family Reunion

On Wednesday we went to a local park for the Hester/Peters Family Reunion. It was a beautiful day at the park for a nice family outing. It was nice to see most of the family all together again. We spent the day visiting with one another and enjoying some YUMMY food. I had a wonderful time, and can't wait till we have another family reunion.

Magic Kingdom

On Tuesday we spent the day at the Magic Kingdom. We had an EXCELLENT time. I felt like such a little kid again. I think I had more fun than the kids did. We rode Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. We took Ace on Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh ride, and the Go Karts. I think the BEST thing Ace got to see was the parade. His face would light up every time he would see a character. We had a very eventful day, and wanted to stay for the fireworks, but we were just TIRED. So we called it a night and headed back to the condo. We were close enough to the parks that we were able to see the fireworks from our balcony.

Family Time in Orlando

On Monday we finished up the rest of our road trip to Orlando. We arrived at our Condo in Orlando around 3 pm. Our condo was BEAUTIFUL. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath, that slept 8 people. On our side of the condo there was a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, etc. In our master bedroom we had a Jacuzzi tub, king size bed and a plasma flat screen tv. My sister and her family stayed on the other side of the condo. Once we arrived at the condo, we got all settled in and waited for my sister and her family to arrive. They arrived around 5 o'clock. We took it easy on Monday night, and sat around ate some Boudin and Mac N Cheese and talked. We head to bed a little early, because Tuesday was our day at the Magic Kingdom.

Road trip to Orlando

Today we left for Orlando. We left Virgina around 9 am and got to our hotel in Walterboro SC around 8 pm. We had a very good car ride. The kids were GREAT. Ace loved sitting in the back seat and watching movies, he thought it was the COOLEST thing. He watching Cars about 3 times BACK to BACK to BACK. Aidan did a REALLY good job, he slept most of the time, but when he wasn't sleeping he was looking out the window and talking and laughing up a storm, it was so cute. Phil and I took turns driving, we had a good time listening to music and talking. We would stop every 3 hours to feed and change diapers.

We decided to make one of our stops at South of the Border. It was a good time to walk around and stretch our feet. Ace loved posing with all the animals and characters.

After South of the Border we continued on to our half way point at Walterboro SC. We decided that we would stop and grab some dinner at a Sports Bar before heading over to the hotel. Plus we wanted to watch the Redskin's game. BUT we didn't know that we were in DRY county that didn't serve alcohol on Sunday, and since they didn't sell alcohol on Sunday's, their Sports Bar was closed, so we didn't get to catch the game :o( So we ate dinner at Cracker Barrel and headed over to the hotel to get some rest before we continued on our way to Orlando

Aidan 3 months old

Aidan is now 3 months old. I can't believe how big he is getting. He now weighs about 15 lbs, and is quickly growing out of his 3-6 month clothes. He is such a chunky little monkey :o) Aidan is FINALLY sleeping through the night....YAY....we put him down at 11 and he will sleep till around 5-6. I am soooooo HAPPY that I can finally sleep through the night. He is also more alert and awake during the day time. He loves to laugh and smile and talk to his big brother. Ace loves that he can make Aidan laugh. I have a feeling that they are going to be inseparable as they grow up. I love my little boys.
