Merry Christmas

On Christmas Eve, the family attended church for the Candlelight Service. After church we headed home, ate some dinner, lit a fire, and read Ace some Christmas books and then put him to bed. Then Phil and I watched some Christmas movies and wrapped some last minute presents.

On Christmas Morning, Philip and I woke up around 8am, surprised that Ace didn't wake us up earlier. We headed downstairs, lit another fire, and waited for Ace to wake up. Ace FINALLY woke up around 9:30.....of all the days to sleep in, he choose Christmas Morning. Ace's face lit up when he walked downstairs and saw all the COOL presents that Santa had left for him.

Ace received: Hot Wheels race track, some motorcycles, some Hot Wheels cars, a cool Batman shaving kit, a coloring book, some Christmas candy

Aidan received: A bumbo, a Christmas Ornament, and some infant friendly toys

Phil received: Call of Duty, Homemade Calendar, Family Christmas Statue

I received: Some reed diffusers, Willow Tree figurine, some boots, and some Christmas scratches.

On Christmas Night we had some of Phil's family over for a big Christmas Feast. I made Turkey, Stuffing, Red Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Cranberries. It was a nice dinner. After dinner the kids opened their presents from Grandma.

We had a very Nice Christmas. Thank you God :o)

Aidan 4 months old

Today Aidan turned 4 months old. He is growing right before my eyes. It seems like is was just yesterday that I was in the hospital giving birth to him. Aidan is still around 15 lbs, he is a chunky little boy, he has out grown his 3-6 month clothes, and is now wearing 6-9 month clothes :o) He is a lot more active. He loves to lay down and attempt to roll over, he will get half way there and then Ace will help him out a little and give him a little push to help him roll over all the way. Ace is such a GREAT big brother. I am still amazed at how much he loves his little brother. Every morning he wakes up and the first thing he asks me is "Where is Aidan", I think it is soooo cute.

Santa Train

Today we woke up EXTRA early and headed over to Manassas to go on the Santa Train. Ace wasn't a very happy camper this morning. It was early, he was hungry, and it was VERY cold outside. But his attitude changed once he saw the train approaching. Once we got on the train, he was in heaven. We rode around on the train for about hour. Santa made an appearance. He went up to every kid and wished them a Merry Christmas. They also passed out coloring books and candy canes. We had a very good time :o)

Our Vacation comes to an end

On Saturday morning we had to say goodbye to my sister and her family :o( They had to make a long trip back home. During the day on Saturday we took an hour trip to Tampa, Fl to visit Phil's Aunt and his cousins. We had a good time visiting with them.

On Sunday we laid around the condo all day being LAZY, watching movies and football, and pigging out on dip and popcorn. It was nice to have a nice lazy day to ourselves before we headed back home.

On Monday we woke up pretty early, packed up the car and headed out on our 13 hour drive home. It was a VERY long rude home, and I was very happy when we made it home.

Cousin Love

During our Thanksgiving vacation, Ace became best buds with his two cousins Mason and Luke. Mason is 6 years old and Luke is 1. Ace would wake up in the morning and ask for Luke, and then run into the next condo and watch The Wiggles with him (thanks a lot Linds). Then Ace would follow Mason around and copy everything that he did. It was the cutest thing. It was sooo sad when Ace woke up on Saturday morning and ran into the condo next door saying "Where's OOOke (Luke)" I am so happy that they got to spend a whole week playing and having a good time. Can't wait for them to get together again.

Animal Kingdom

On Friday the Johnson and Vondenstein Family took a trip to Animal Kingdom. We had a very good time at this Disney Park. We went on an Animal Safari Ride, walked around and visited all the different animals, watched the parade, ate lunch at the Rain forest Cafe, and last but not least....took pictures with all the Disney Characters. This had to be the BEST experience during our trip :o)
