I'm back.....

I would like to apologize for slacking on my blogging. We have been so busy since August. We had the both boys birthdays, Ace started preschool, we moved into a new house, took a long vacation to Virginia and Atlanta, and now we are getting ready for Christmas. So I am going to post some pictures of all the fun we have been having.

BOY'S BIRTHDAYS

The boys had an awesome birthday. Since they are 6 days apart we decided to have a joint birthday party for the both of them. Of course we celebrated as a family on their actual b-day. Ace wanted to eat dinner at CiCi's and he wanted Mommy to make him an Iron Man cake (which Daddy did most of the decorating). Aidan wanted to eat dinner at the Purple Cow and he wanted an Elmo cake (which I did all by myself).

ACE STARTS PRESCHOOL

We decided that Ace was ready to get out of the house and interact with other kids. So we placed him in Preschool at First Baptist Church. He goes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday all day, and he just LOVES it. He is so happy to come home and show us all the cool crafts he has made and he also loves to come home and share his stories with us. While in Preschool the teachers notices some Speech Delay .... so he is working with a Speech Therapist and we are already seeing some improvement :)

NEW HOUSE

We recently moved into a new home and we are so happy with the move. The house is a little smaller than our old house, but the space and layout makes more sense to our family. In our old house we had a lot of free empty space. The major plus for us...Philip and I share an office (which we didn't have at our old house) half is his office and the other half is my scrapbooking area. We are very happy with the move

HAPPY B-DAY MOMMY

The family gave me a wonderful birthday celebration. Phil made me an awesome dinner and a beautiful cake. The kiddos showered me with love and gifts. One of my favorite gifts was my Wii Fit :) Phil also took me out for a nice dinner and some adult time on my actual b-day. It was so nice to get out of the house and have date night.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???

It is that time of the year again....FOOTBALL season. The Johnson household is very happy :) Last year we upset with the lack of local coverage off the football games, so this year we decided we just had to get Direct Tv and we are so happy with that decision. Although the Skins aren't showing up to play....we are still fans to the end and love our Sundays filled with good food and lots of football.

STATE FAIR

Phil had the day off and we decided to spend the day taking the kiddos to the state fair. The kids had a great time on the rides and loved the fair food.

5 WONDERFUL YEARS

Philip and I celebrated 5 years of marriage on Oct. 28th. I can not believe that we have been married for 5 years and that we have 3 beautiful kids. I am truly blessed with such a wonderful man. I can not wait for the next 5 years.

HALLOWEEN 2010

We had a pretty good Halloween this year. The boys were able to celebrate and wear the costumes a lot this year. We first went to the Library for the kids Haunted Tour and they had a BLAST. The was Ace's Halloween Party at his school....the kids had a  great time and Ace was proud to show off his bro and sis. We then took to them to St John's for their Halloween Bazaar. And last we tried to take them Trick or Treating and after 3 neighborhoods...we gave up. We only had 5 willing houses....so next year we are just gonna stick with Trunk or Treat.

THANKSGIVING 2010

For this Thanksgiving break we decided to take a vacation back home. We had a friend's wedding we really wanted to attend and so we decided to just make a long trip out of it. We spent some wonderful time in VA..visiting family and lots of GREAT friends. We had an awesome time and Phil and I were able to go out alone for a couple nights. I was very sad to leave all my friends behind in VA, but maybe one day we will make it back up there. We then ended our trip in Atlanta to visit my family. It was nice to relax and be around family for Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed all the time spent with my baby sis and I just loved watching the kiddos play with their Paw Paw. Last minute plans landed us in Alabama to visit my 2nd cousins. I am gonna have to say that this was the highlight and the best part of the trip. They welcomed us with open arms and they were so GREAT with the kiddos. We were only suppose to stay a day and ended up staying the night. We plan on taking lots of trip back to visit them.

HAPPY B-DAY DADDY

We just celebrated Phil's b-day this past week. Unfortunately we are all trying to over being sick...so pour Phil didn't get that spectacular of a celebration. But we made him a nice card and of course he got his special oreo ice cream cake :)
