12 Months

Took Ashlyn in for her 1 year well check up and she is doing great! She is at 23 lbs now so she is filling out GREAT. She is slowly starting to reach all her milestones. She can pull herself up, stand by herself, hold a sippy cup, loves to babble and she has not quite said "Mama" but she sure does love to say "Dada"...so I guess that should show us "whose girl she is" ;) She is doing so good and we are love having a little girl. She is so different from the boys. She is calm and laid back....but when she throws a fit....well she THROWS a fit. She also is VERY sensitive...if you try to discipline her or raise your voice...she will stick her little lip out and start to pout and quiver and then let out a small little tearless cry. It so cute yet so pitiful. All in all she is one happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl :)

SARAH!!!!

This past weekend I got to spend sometime with my best girlfriend from VA :) My girlfriend Sarah came to visit for a couple days and we had an awesome time. We spent many hours staying up late catching up with one another, we did some sight seeing, and we had an awesome Girls Night Out. The added bonus was that Sarah was in town for Ashlyn's 1st birthday :) So glad that I got to see my good friend and got to have some girl time! Can't wait for the next visit!

Happy 1st Birthday Ashlyn

Can not believe that my baby girl is already a year old. On Saturday we celebrated her 1st birthday (which was also her actual birthday) . We had a small party at the park with some close friends and we had a wonderful time. I was worried about the weather since we had some rain in the beginning of the week but Saturday was BEAUTIFUL day :) We loved watching Ashlyn tear up her birthday cake. It was a very GREAT experience!

New Job

I am proud to announce that I have found myself a Part Time job. I will be working for the upcoming Lifeway Store in Hot Springs :) I am very happy for this new adventure and very excited to what is in the future for our family :)

1st Ear Infection for the Johnson Household

My poor little Aidan has not been feeling good again :( Poor guy can never catch a break. I took him into the doctor last night and he has an ear infection.....poor guy!!! So hopefully we can overcome these cooties soon.

Yummy Smores

This past weekend we spent all day Saturday outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Philip and I decided to get in some much need yard work while the kiddos had fun playing in the yard. After we were all done...we thought it would be fun to make some smores....and boy did the boys enjoy their smores :)

Ashlyn Mae 11 months old

My baby girl is one month away from being 1 year's old. I can not believe how fast this past year have flown by! Ashlyn is growing up pretty fast....she is starting to fill out more and is flying through her 12 month clothes...so we have to bump it up to 18 month clothes for her :) She is crawling around and always trying to get into everything. We have also had the pleasure to experience her temper tantrums and her little attitude!!! She is sure like her mama ;) She is still a tad bit behind in her milestones (compared to both boys) but she is doing GREAT!!!!!
