Pressure and BH Contractions
This morning I woke up feeling sorta achy and sore. I went about the day as normal....took care of the kids.....cleaned some of the house....did a couple loads of laundry. And then I started feeling worse. I was getting a lot of heavy pressure down below and I started to have some BH contractions. Nothing seemed to help....I tried walking, sitting, taking a hot shower....and nothing seemed to help. So I made an appt with my OB and he was able to see me right away. They took my blood pressure (which was normal), took a urine sample (which was normal), listened to the baby's heart beat (which sounded great), he then measured my belly and was a little shocked to see that I was only measuring 23 weeks. So he did an internal exam and was again shocked to find out that her head was right there. I was not dialated and my cervix was still really thick....so he wasn't to alarmed. He told me that I needed to take things really easy and just pace myself, I need to stay off my feet as much as possible and just get lots rest. So as of right now....Philip has resticted me to the couch as much as possible :o) The boys are taking things rather good....Ace is being such a trooper but Aidan thinks that he is now able to get into everything......lol....BOYS :o)

24 weeks
This morning I went to my 24 week OB appt. The doctor took my blood pressure, listened to the babies heart beat, and measured my tummy. He said everything is looking good. I am measuring 1 week early, but nothing too drastic. So she is looking like a big baby! Next month, I will have to go in for my 1 hour glucose test :o( So wish me good luck on that!

Happy New Year
After having and very peaceful New Year's Eve, we had a very eventful New Year's Day. We all woke up rather late, and enjoyed some breakfast....and I made a nice hot cup of coffee and seconds later....our electricity goes out :o( :o( So we decided to make the best of it. We got the boys all loaded up and headed out to Chick Fil A for some lunch and for some fun in the play yard. We then headed back home and let the boys take a short cat nap, and once they woke up....we headed out to our backyard for some fun in the sun. The boys loved playing outside with their Daddy and just being boys :o) Then my oh so wonderful husband came up with the idea of making some hot chocolate on his grill.....and boy was that some yummy hot chocolate! The electricity came back on at 4 o'clock....but it was a nice day filled with fun family time together. Thank you God, for reminding us what is "suppose" to be important and that we need to take advantage of the times we do have together.

New Year's Eve
This New Year's Eve we took it easy :o) Phil had to work and I am 6 months preggo....so a night at home was all we needed. Philip knew that I was having a bad day, so he surprised me with some Chinese Food, and Sparkling Cider :o) :o) We sat around playing the Wii, talking, and watching the Ball drop. We even let Ace stay up to toast to the New Year. It was a fun night. And what a blessing to be able to spend it at home in peace with the people that I love the most!
