Today I woke up a little later than I usually do, and I looked out the window and what did I see.....SNOW. I felt like a little girl again :o) I ran into Ace's room, woke him up, got him dressed and out we went to play in the snow. At first he was a little skeptical.....but once I started throwing and kicking snow at him, he started to have some fun :o)

Happy Birthday Grandma
Tonight we took Grandma out for dinner. We went to one of our FAVORITE restaurants Sakura Japanese Steak House. The food is GREAT and I love the entertainment of the Hibachi Grill. Unfortunately, Ace wasn't feeling the same way as me. He didn't like the big burst of fire in the beginning, and it went ALL down him from there. But he got a kick out of the chef tossing chicken in everyone's mouth. He thought that was the funniest thing ever :o) It was nice to spend the evening with Phil's mom and to celebrate her birthday with her.
Mini Road Trip
We decided to take a three day trip to visit Phil's Uncle Mike and Aunt Sharon out in Dillwyn, VA. It is about a 3-4 hour drive from our house. We drove out on a Monday and drove back home on Wednesday. When we arrived on Monday, we went out to see Phil's grandparents' graves. Once we got home we ate some YUMMY dinner, and played SPADES. Of course Sharon and I were nice wives, so we LET the men win ;o) On Tuesday, Philip to me to the town of Farmville and showed me the college and all the sites. Tuesday night we went out for dinner. And then on Wednesday we drove back home. We had a GREAT time. It was nice to get out of the house and to be out in the country. Ace JUST loved it. He loved to see Uncle Mike and Aunt Sharon, he had a blast jumping on Uncle Mike's bed and he got a kick out of trying to run on the treadmill. He especially LOVED the race cars and race track that Aunt Sharon bought for him....that was all he did. I brought my camera up, with all the intentions of taking pictures, but we had so much fun that we forgot to take some pictures.

Aidan 5 months old
Well, Aidan turned 5 months old. Not much has changed since his last appt. He is still a BIG boy. He little tummy and chunky cheeks just crack me up. He still hasn't been able to roll over yet. He will try and get half way there, but his arm will get stuck under his BIG belly :o) He is still my little baby. I don't know why I baby him so much. I am still breastfeeding, and next month I THINK I will start him on solids. But we shall see. He is still sleeping in the same room as Phil and I....we have moved him out of our bed :o) But I can't seem to let go, and put him in the crib in his room :o( I do TRY, I will start out the night by feeding him, and then lay him in his crib, and after tossing and turning (me of course), and CONSTANT checking on him (and mind you he is asleep or just laying in bed content) I will finally go in his room, and bring him back into our bed room. I am not ready to let go yet :o) He is still my little baby.

Mommy and Ace Goofing off
Ace has turned into a little stinker. He is the coolest kid I know. I can't believe how big he is now. He walks around and tells you as it is. Him and Phil are a riot together. Rough housing, playing army men, coloring, and they just LOVE to be boys and FART. It is gross, but I can't help but laugh when Ace tries sooo hard to be like his father. Ace also LOVES to take my camera and take pictures of things. The other day we were messing around with the camera and below are a few pictures, that Ace and I took :o)

Aidan's 4 month check up
Today I took Aidan in for his 4 month check up. And BOY do I have myself a BIG boy. He weighs a whopping 18 lbs, which puts him in the 90th percentile for weight. He is only in the 25 percentile for height, but Philip and I do know how to make some SHORT babies :o) I still am in shock at how much this little boy weighs. He is already growing OUT of his 6-9 months clothes. I give it another week or two and he will be 9-12 month clothes. Other than that, his check up was GREAT. He did have to get 4 shots, which he wasn't too fond of, but he was a trooper. I am still amazed how time seems to be flying by, it still feels like it was yesterday that we were in the hospital getting ready for his arrival. And now he is trying to sit up on his own, starting to roll over, laughing, etc. He is turning into a big boy :o( Aidan and Ace are getting along GREAT. Ace still loves his little brother. He will sit there and talk to him all the time. Aidan has started babbling, and at times I will walk in and see Ace sitting next Aidan, and they are talking away. No ones seems to understand what they are saying to one another.....but they sure do understand each other :o) They are going to be GREAT pals.

New Years Eve
This year for New Years Eve, we decided to stay home and have some friends over to play some cards. It was a very laid back and relaxed evening. The kids had fun until it was time for bed. For some odd reason, Ace thought he would stay up late, but to his surprise, it was off to bed at 9pm :o)
