My Wonderful Children

I would like to update everyone on how the children are doing :)

Ace: Ace is growing right before my very own eyes. He is turning into such an independent big boy. I can not believe that in August he will be celebrating his 4th birthday!!! He will also be starting Pre School on the 16th. Although I am looking forward to a break (cause removing one child from the equation....really makes a difference) I am going to miss my big helper. I am going to miss the 50 questions I get every day, the sweet Lego flowers and buildings that he builds for me, I am gonna miss the rare occasions where he wants to curl on the couch and snuggle with me while we watch the morning toons. I know it sounds like he will be gone all week long....but that is not the case.....he is only going Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am - 4pm.....but that is still a big time apart from Mommy :(. But Ace is so very excited, he can not wait to get his back pack ready and hit the road to pre school! I just hope that he makes lots of friends and has a fun time.

Aidan: Aidan is still my baby boy and I think he is always going to be Mommy's baby boy :) He loves to crawl into bed with Mommy in the middle of the night and cuddle with me. He loves to lay on the couch while I play with his hair....he loves to sit still and read books. This boy could read books all day long if you would read to him! He still has a feisty side and loves to pick fights with his older brother. Aidan is also growing so fast. He is starting to put words together to form sentences and we are amazed at his vocabulary...unlike Ace....Aidan is a copycat....we we need to start watching what comes out of our mouths! In August Aidan is will be celebrating his 2nd birthday....time sure does fly by.

Ashlyn: My little princess....my one and only little girl. How I love her so!!! She is already 3 months old and I just want time to SLOW down. I love to see her grow and I love to see her at different stages...but since she is my last :( I want to cherish these baby years! She is still rather petite and and is in 0-3 month clothes....but within the next month I am going to have to jump her up to 3-6 month clothes :( Ashlyn loves to sit and smile at you, she loves coo and she loves to watch what everyone is up to. She HATES tummy time and she will let you know that she doesn't want no part of it! She is a champ and bottle feeding and is sleeping through the night :)

Aidan's Special Day Out

A couple weekends ago was Aidan's Special Day Out and it was spent with me :) I took my little man to the Library to read some book cause this boy LOVES to read. He also played with Legos and Train Set. After we spent some time at the Library, I took Aidan to his favorite place......The Purple Cow....we ate some lunch and some Purple Ice Cream :) He had a BLAST!!!

Lake Time Fun

Can't believe that summer is almost over.....where has the time gone? We have had such a wonderful summer just relaxing at home and enjoying every minute of our family time together! We just love to load our boat up and hit the lake for some fun in the sun.....and boy do the boys love lake time. Ace LOVES to jump into the water like a big boy and Aidan loves to sit in his raft splashing like a crazy fool :) The joys of life!

Ashlyn Mae 3 months old

This weekend my baby girl turned 3 months old. I am in denial with every month that passes by, I still can't believe that it has already been three months! Ashlyn is growing up so fast.....although to my delight.....she is still as petite as can be and not out growing her clothes too fast :) She is such a happy baby girl. She hardly ever cries or gets fussy and when she does it is mostly cause she is hungry or wants some attention. We started noticing that she LOVES attention. She loves for you to hold her, talk to her, play with her...etc. So we think she is gonna be the star of the show ;) She also LOVES her big brothers....and boy do they love their baby sis! They always want to help Mommy feed her, change her, play with her, hold her, talk to her, etc. I am so happy that there is already such a strong bond with her and her brothers! And she is already shaping up to be a Daddy's girl....Phil loves her so very much and just loves to lay on the couch and hold her. BUT he is already starting to stress about her teenage years.....I told him he needs to relax before he gives himself a heart attack. PLUS we still have many years to go until we get to that stage! Here are some pics of my little princess....for her 3 month celebration we took her to get her ears pierced :) She did GREAT

Fourth of July

This past weekend we celebrated the Fourth of July. It was a really laid back 4th compared to our previous celebrations in VA. Friday Phil took half a day (since I had a doc appt) and we started our 3 day weekend with a trip to Oaklawn to see their Firework show. We ended up sitting in our car in the parking lot to watch the show (didn't feel like dealing with crazy drunk people) and the boys had a GREAT time. Then Saturday we spent a lazy day at home watching movies and lounging around. Sunday Phil took us all out on the boat for some fun on the lake and then we came home to shoot of some fireworks :o) Monday was another lazy day around the house. We sure did have a laid back restful 4th!

Mommy's Mini Me

Little Miss Ashlyn Mae is such a doll :o) She isn't packing on the pounds like the boys did.....so maybe she is gonna be small and petite like her mama! I just love to watch her sleep and of course we love to play dress up :o) Here are some cute pics of her
